Core Features

Introduction

Welcome

Welcome to the Core Features section, where we'll explore the main capabilities of the InTrends API in detail.

What Will You Learn in This Section?

In this section, we'll cover:

  • Pre-configured Endpoints (Use Cases)

Ready-made solutions for quick API testing.

  • Creating Custom Endpoints

Setting up and managing personalized requests.

  • Endpoint Dashboard

Data viewing, analytics, and trend filtering.

Swagger

If you want to work with the API directly, check out the API Reference (Swagger) section.

Next Step: Pre-configured Endpoints (Use Cases)

Pre-configured Endpoints (Use Case Endpoints)

What Are Pre-configured Endpoints?

Pre-configured endpoints are ready-made solutions that allow users to quickly test the API without the need to set up custom requests.

We've selected several key topics to demonstrate how InTrends API can be applied across different business sectors – from finance and corporations to politics, events, and media.

How Do They Work?

  • Data Collection

Each endpoint collects data based on keywords and geolocation.

  • Real-time Updates

Data is updated in real-time and displays current trends.

  • Accessibility

These endpoints are available immediately after registration and require no setup.

  • Usage

While they can't be edited, you can test them, retrieve data, and analyze trends.

Custom Endpoints

For information about creating your own custom endpoints, see the Custom Endpoints section.

Available Pre-configured Endpoints

  • Investors – Crypto Drops

Monitor cryptocurrency trends: new tokens, altcoin drops, market volatility, and investment strategies.

    Test Endpoint

  • Company – Qatar Airways

Qatar Airways corporate news: financial reports, fleet expansion, routes, partnerships, and services.

    Test Endpoint

  • Event – WebSummit Qatar 2025

Major WebSummit Qatar 2025 events: innovative startups, speaker presentations, key technology industry trends.

    Test Endpoint

    Test Endpoint

  • Media – Soccer News

Current events in soccer: latest transfers, match results, major controversies, and player news.

    Test Endpoint

While pre-configured endpoints help test the API, business tasks require more flexibility. Custom endpoints allow users to set their own keywords to receive trends relevant to their field. Next, we'll explore how to create and configure a custom endpoint through the UI.

Swagger

If you need to integrate the API into your project without using the UI, see the API Reference (Swagger) section.

Next Step: Creating Custom Endpoints

Creating Custom Endpoints

How to Create a Custom Endpoint?

To set up a personalized API request, follow these steps:

  • Open Endpoint Creation Menu

    1. Navigate to Dashboard Alt text
    2. In the "Set Up Your API for Trends" block, click "Add new trend endpoint"
  • Fill in Endpoint Details Alt text --- Complete the parameters in the popup window:

    • Endpoint name – any convenient name
    • Keywords – up to 5 keywords (enter and press Enter)
